Award to bear former Lady Vol coach Crawford's namePublished by
The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association will create an award in the name of former Tennessee track and field coach Terry Crawford, to honor her “all-around” success. The Terry Crawford Program of the Year Award will be awarded annually to the most outstanding NCAA Division I women’s cross country and track & field program. The award will honor the institution that has achieved the most success in each academic year based on the institution’s finish at the NCAA Division I championships. The Greeneville, Tenn., native, in her 17th year of coaching at Cal Poly, spent 10 years at Tennessee (1974-1984) as head coach of track and field and cross country.
