Jim Click Shootout Final Results

It was a day of personal records and regional qualifications for the UA men’s and women’s track and field teams on Saturday as they hosted the annual Jim Click Shootout at Roy P. Drachman Stadium.

On the day, the team earned 16 NCAA West Regional Qualifications and 26 athletes set personal records.  More importantly, 12 athletes earned qualifications in just their first meet competing outdoors this season.

“We had a number of NCAA Regional qualifier improvements and several new qualifying marks today,” said UA head coach Fred Harvey. “That’s our whole goal behind this meet – to get NCAA marks and give athletes from difference conferences an experience they can remember for the rest of their careers.”

Luis Rivera-Morales made his return to the outdoor track and field world winning the long jump event, a feat he has become accustomed to this year.
