Gay, speaking during a teleconference Thursday announcing his award as the 2007 United States Olympic Committee Sportsman of the Year, offered the opinion when asked if he would run against South African Oscar Pistorius, a Paralympian gold medalist who this week was denied a petition to compete in the Olympics.
