Moody Top Collegian after Texas Relays Decathlon First DayPublished by
April 2, 2008 AUSTIN, Texas -- Washington State's Rickey Moody is the top collegian and in second place overall in the men's decathlon
after the first day of the 81st Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays
decathlon, Wednesday, at Mike A. Myers Stadium on the University of
Texas Austin campus. Moody, a senior from Puyallup, Wash., reached a personal-best
first-day total of 4,156 points in the decathlon, behind former Texas
All-American and collegiate decathlon record-holder Trey Hardy's 4,212
points (now competing for Nike), and just ahead of Cal State
